Privacy Policy

Last updated: 20 August 2026

This explains what personal data Table Reel collects, why, and how it's handled. Table Reel is a product of Niche Social Ltd (company number 17333964), of 66 Paul St, London EC2A 4NA, the data controller for the purposes of UK GDPR.

1. What we collect

  • Account details: name, email address, business name, and business type, collected when you sign up or purchase.
  • Payment information: handled entirely by Stripe — we never see or store your full card details ourselves.
  • Uploaded content: the video and photo footage you upload to film your reels, and the finished videos rendered from it.
  • Usage data: basic technical logs (e.g. render history, credit usage) needed to run the Service and diagnose problems.

2. Why we collect it

To create and run your account, process payment, generate your videos, send essential account emails (welcome, password reset, receipts), and provide support if you contact us. We don't use your data for advertising, and we don't sell it.

3. Who we share it with

We use a small number of service providers to run Table Reel, each only handling the data needed for their part:

  • Stripe — payment processing.
  • Vercel — application hosting and storage of your uploaded footage.
  • Neon — our database (account and business records).
  • AWS (via Remotion) — renders your finished videos and stores them until you download them.
  • Resend — sends account emails (welcome, password reset).

These providers only process data on our instructions and aren't permitted to use it for their own purposes. Some are based outside the UK/EEA (primarily the US); where that applies, they operate under standard data protection safeguards (such as the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or standard contractual clauses).

4. How long we keep it

We keep account data for as long as your account is active, and for a reasonable period afterwards in case you return or for legal/accounting reasons. You can ask us to delete your account and data at any time (see below) — we'll do so except where we're legally required to retain something (e.g. payment records for tax purposes).

5. Your rights

Under UK GDPR you can ask us to access, correct, delete, or export your personal data, or object to how we use it. To do any of this, email claire@table-reel.com. You can also complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) if you think we've mishandled your data.

6. Cookies

We use a single essential cookie to keep you signed in (your session). We don't use tracking or advertising cookies.

7. Changes

If we make a material change to this policy, we'll let you know by email before it takes effect.
